GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This product is designed for the maintenance of Junckers' factory oiled floors and floors treated with one of Junckers' floor oils.
- The oil is easy to apply and fast drying.
- After 30 to 60 minutes the floor is ready for use.
- The oil restores the surface to a uniform sheen and reduces the effects of scratches and abrasion.
Maintenance Oil has received the Danish Indoor Climate Labelling. A product with this labelling has undergone extensive volatile emission and odour tests. This ensures that there are no chemical substances in the product which adversely affect the air quality in the room.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Product:
Water-based air-drying alkyd oil.
Package sizes:
Clear: 1 litre, 2½ litres, 10 litres.
Black: 2½ litres.
TECHNICAL DATA
Coverage:
Clear oil: 30-50 m² per litre.
Black oil: 20-25 m² per litre.
Before application: Shake/stir well before use.
Application tools: Flat cotton floor mop.
Substrate temperature: Minimum 15 °C.
Dilution: Not recommended.
Drying time at 20 °C and 50 % RH:
Ready for light traffic after 30-60 minutes.
Fully cured after 24 hours.
Cleaning of tools: Soap and water immediately after use.
Storage: Lasts for 2 years if unopened and stored at 20 °C. Not to be exposed to temperatures below 5 °C.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The oiled surface must be absolutely clean, dry and free from dust, grease, polish and detergent residue.
Dirt and irregularities can be removed by sanding with sandpaper grit 180-240 or a polishing machine equipped with a corresponding pad. Remove sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner and wipe off with a cloth well wrung in clean water.
- Apply the oil an even thin layer.
- Note that the oil hardens quickly so care should be taken to spread and work the oil before it dries.
- Keep any overlaps with dry areas to a minimum.
- Buffing using a polishing machine is not recommended.
The frequency of treatment varies with the amount of traffic on the floor. The more traffic, the higher the frequency of the treatment.
Spot repairs:
Floors regularly maintained with Maintenance Oil on the full area can be spot repaired in walking lanes and other areas with high traffic.
Surfaces worn through:
Only use Maintenance Oil to refresh the floor. If the surface has worn through to bare wood, the floor should be sanded and re-treated with one of Junckers' floor oils.
